SERVER-WEBAPP Zammad elevation of privilege attempt
This rule looks for HTTP requests to the endpoint "/api/v1/packages" that include a multipart body with a "Content-Disposition" header, a target path "app/views/mailer/password_reset/", and a base64‑encoded payload containing the function "write(". Successful exploitation allows an attacker to write arbitrary files to the Zammad application directory, leading to remote code execution with the privileges of the Zammad service account.
This rule fires on elevation of privilege attempts targeting Zammad web application servers.
